Thread: Lake Mattoon

Anybody fishing Lake Mattoon? I'll be there all next week and just wondering if anybody is doing any good there.

I haven't heard much, I used to live in Mattoon and have been all over that lake, it is one great lake for crappie in the spring and fall. If your new to the area and need a barber go to the Clipper Hair Studio, Jim is a big fisherman and would probably have some info on Lake Mattoon, as well as some summer tactics for the lake.

Lots of skiers and pleasure boaters to keep your boat rockin'. Squirrel season is in and you might hear me training my squirrel dogs in the area.
