Thread: Shelbyville 7-27

Fished from about noon till 4 and had a limit pretty easy. Caught lots of fish, even a big ol green carp. Fished 10-12 foot down in 15-25 fow minnows on a jig hook worked for me. Got a big ol sun burn...and played about an hour of fetch with my ol lab in the water. It was a fun day...

Two of us fished Shelbyville today for about four hours. We took 11 over ten inches and 10 under ten inches. All fish came from standing timber or laydowns. We had three at or a little over 12 inches and several at or over 11 inches. All were caught on minnows. They were hitting well as we probably threw back another 30 or so. We went through 6 dozen minnows. Also caught several largemouth, yellow bass, and bluegill.

You guys are killing me but congrats to all who have gone!

I just got back from the store where I bought more gear for my boat (a new anchor, fire extinguisher, seats, etc.) BUT STILL need to get a hitch put on my van so I can at least haul it and go fishing!!!

Now if anyone by SHelbyville could handle some company this weekend I will bring the minnows, food and beverages - your choice (within reason!)...:D
