Thread: 9 lb freightrain

I went to Crab today. Didnt fish a whole lot...had thoughts of planting some brush although of course I didnt since its illegal and im a law obiding citizen...anyway...while thinking about planting brush all afternoon I managed to fish briefly and within 2 mintues I hooked onto this thing. Very rare to catch a carp on a crappie jig but i spent 15 minutes landing it and it weighed 9 pounds on the button. Did I mention I only THOUGHT about planting some brush?

They are fun aint they. I know what you meen about the brush piles. Last week I thought about putting some stakebeds in. I caught one last year on a roadrunner I thought at first I had snaged it but it was hooked in the mouth.

That had to be great! If it was on a ultra-lite it surely would be PB.
I hooked a nice carp once while catfishing....set the hook so hard I ripped the lips right off. The lips weighed three pounds :D:D:D

I bet that thing was a fighter. Hey Jeff since you only "thought" about putting brush out, where did you think to put it out at? There might be some there already and I will go look and see. HAHAHA
