Wife and I decided to sit on the water for a couple of hours Sunday morning and enjoy the quiet. Plan changed when everywhere we went we caught fish. We fished sets and then bridges. LOTS of small ones ... plenty of 9" for the skillet and then we decide to try that one place that is always too crowded to jump in on ... but it was empty. We must have drifted over one of the "magic stumps". For about 30 minutes when the jig went in the water a fish came out. Lot of small whites ... a couple keeper whites and a handful of fat crappie ... not real long, but good fish. We ended up on the water for 6 hours and did not want to leave ...
