Took my dads boat out today as well as the pontoon boat my moms family rented for the day. We sat in a cove most of the day and swam around, did a little tubbin, and just drivin up and down the lake. At 6:30 we headed back into the marina to check the pontoon boat back in. I decided to go do a little fishin...man do I wish I woulda started earlier. In 30 mintues I had 6 keeper crappie 4 over ten and 2 little under with about 15 shorts to go with them. They literally hit it as soon as it got to that magical depth I was set at. I was fishin 17-21 fow with minners and jigs tipped with minners, had to put the jig pole away because couuldnt keep the two in the water at the same time. One of the days you dont want to end...

Ill post the picture tomorrow of the fishys...to late now, my bedtime It was a great day and nothins better than toppin some family time off with some crappies one after another

Tyler that sounds like the day I had. I wish I would have got out there sooner but I got out there bout two hours before dark. I'm going to hit it again tomorrow morning. I wonder if it has anything to do with the full moon. I could not keep a jig in the water. caught all my fish on one set except for one. I just could not leave and try another set. Why fix it if it is not broke I guess.

alright...here is the lone picture. Not much at all lol but its a picture to proove I got em.

Went back after school monday since my boss was at the doctor and started fishing about 4:45 and, just like the previous day the crappies were going crazy on minnows and plain jigs. Unfortunantly...they were all in the 5-9 inch range. At about 7 or 7:15 somewhere in there they just completely stopped. I would imagine the sun got down far enough that they left and started really chasin the shad. Ended up with 6 that day too with only one under 10. Didnt keep any that day. If anyone wants to know the general area im fishin just shoot me a PM...
