Tyler - just send all of us old retired guys your best producing GPS locations and we will try and keep those crappies stirred up and ready to jump on your jigs on Sunday when you get out. Good luck this year in basketball and baseball - looking forward to watching you play. Frank Lawhead said he would be willing to help me keep your favorite brush piles occupied.

I did the same thing when I was your age and you will find it get's worse when you get older for a while. But, then, later on in life, if you are lucky, you get like some of us old farts and get to retire and enjoy life. Of course, by them, you may be too old to enjoy it as much asyou did when you were young. I hope you have a good job that you like and it pays you well. I hope you get a sports scholorship and it leads you to a better life.

It'll work out Tyler,it always does.I'll have to come and watch ya play sometime.Who knows,i may be bringing one of my teams down that way and root for ya both, hehe.I hear ya John on the lunch breaks,i do it alot in the fall, get an hour lunch, pick up 5 or 6 slabs, put em in the fridge,go back to work, come home and fillet em out. Also,me and a guy i work with get lucky occasionally and the boss lets us take a day off to go fishin, seriously. She said,if you both can get me some crappie fillets,i'll give ya a couple days a month freedom to do so.

I love my job. Also, when i take the students to a game,i get to fish from time to time while they are playing. It's a great thing.

thanks guys lol. I get a hour and a half lunch break so I might have to find me a local pond to fish!!!

angler73, I think I might have to take up on that bus driving thing so I can do two things, check out the ladies on the bus, and fish while there playin...ahhhh that would be nice. Unfortunantly, im 17 and i dont think they would let me lol

Well, bird,ya have to be 21 and gettin a CDL in Illinois for a school and charter bus is very tough. The testing anymore is just sickening, but i made it.The money is awesome as well. There were quite a few days this past spring where the softball teams were playing at shelbyville,so i'd take the bus over to the spillway and fish for a couple hours.I'd take a cooler with me and a few times i'd leave with a walleye or 2 and some crappie.Got paid for it too, lol. It counts towards the wait time,so it's fun.
