It was a good day on the lake yesterday. Had a couple of old buddies visit from up in central illinois who have always wanted to come down and have a sample of the fishing in the southern part of the state. I think they are convinced. We brought home 93 between 9 and 14 inches. Just a great day of crappie fishing all around. Fish bit all day. Threw back another 75-100 and went through 15 dozen minnows. Gobs of fish in 7-9 feet of water over stumps or brush. They said when they get back home its gonna be hard to go back to Shelbyville after this weekend!

CarpPoop thats a nice mess of fish. That should tell people just because it is hot and summer time don't mean the fish won't bite. They have to eat in the summer also you just have to find the cover they are on.
