Default tick fest

We squirrel hunted friday around findlay on the lake property and shot 4. when we got home, we found at LEAST a 100 deer ticks on us and we sprayed down with OFF before heading into the woods. I have no desire to hunt in that area again this fall. just a heads up, if you go. use 2 cans of tick repellant.

Guess that sums it up for OFF, we use the 99% stuff that come in the pump bottle, but they are still bad and very plentiful this year.

I hate them things!!!!!!!!

Deer ticks are some bad a$$ critters. I think OFF and Repel actually attract them. If I'm hitting an area known for deer ticks i use my RhinoSkin and spray all the outer garments with permanone. Can't use it on skin but you can treat your clothes and it last up to 2 weeks. I re-apply after they get wet or weekly to be sure. For added protection take some duct tape and wrap around then back wrap so the stick side is out. You'll stop a lot that way.

Did I mention I hate them things!!

Was you still hunting or following a good squirrel dog? When I go squirrel hunting, it is with one of my squirrel dogs. With all of the brush now, you can definately get more squirrel still hunting. But, I love the dog work.
As for ticks, I reckon it is in the woods you hunt. They haven't bothered me much this year.
