Any news from Lake of Egypt? Heading down that way this weekend and am hoping to get the line wet a time or two. Would be even more fun if there was a fish on the end of it periodically. Any updates or advice are welcomed!

i have given up on that particular lake...so I have no personal information. But the paper reports slow in 18-20 feet deep over wood. Typical summer pattern there...and the same report you'll basically see over and over during the hot months.

Thanks, Carp. I figured it would be pretty rough this time of year. But our friends have a house down there and we'll be there with them this weekend, so I'll give it a go. Maybe we'll give it a shot at night????
