After church today Dad and I made a spur of the moment decision to go to the creek. Got there at one...water was PERFECT, but, the smallies didnt agree. We caught lots of small kentucky spotted bass, a few small large mouth, and several smallies. Dad caught the biggest one about 2 lbs but faught like a 4lber. My biggest was about a 14 inch largemouth. We lost several other good smallies close to 2lbs. Caught several drum perch and a catfish at the "bobber hole." We then watched the biggest deer I have ever saw and my dad said he ever saw promptly play in the water about 60 yards from us with not a care that we were there. All in all it was an amazing day away from everything.

And some of many BIG trees lined along one of the banks from the floods this spring. There were foot wide rocks shoved straight into wood from the fast moving water this spring, I couldnt even imagine what it looked like.
The deer. He was walking away when we took this and he still looks huge!
