Default Shelbyville 7/6

Messed around from the bank for a little bit this evening. Had lots of VERY little short fish and kept these 4 over 10". I think the big black crappie was lost, because it's the only one-big or small- I've caught from this spot. He was a hog.

Nice catch. It's nice to catch black and white crappie. Other than one other time, this year I've caught a mixed bag quite a few times. Good to see what I hope is the pop. of each growing here. Congrats.

Looking for suggestions on guides and fishing packages for Rend and Shelbyville Lake. I need a change. Have been going to Reelfoot in TN for the past five years.

Thanks,

SLAB

Two of us hit Shelbyville today for crappie. We caught between 20 and 25 and kept the 10 largest. We had two 11's, three 10 to 10.5 and five between 9 and 10 inches. We found them in standing timber 10 to 12 feet down in 14 to 18 feet of water. All were caught on minnows. Not a great day, but it sure beat sitting home wishing we were on the water.

Thanks,

SLAB
but the wife and I have been making a run to KY lake over her spring break the first full week of April. Been considering going a bit further south as it seems we hit it a tad bit early. Can you give me any advice on Reelfoot? Thanx.
