Default Lake Evergreen the crappie are crappy!!!

Unless anyone can prove othewise, the crappie situation on lake Evergreen has not improved much since last fall 2007, actually since last spring 2007.

Went out the other day and caught nothing but 4-5" small ones. Spoke to many people who said the same thing, as a matter of fact some of them went home fishless at least crappieless.

With them raising the minimum lengths, and dropping the creel limits, with $2.50 per dozen minnow's at the boat launch, it is making it hard for me to hit that lake which I really enjoy fishing.

Is anybody out there doing any better than the rest of us. I'm sure we would all enjoy some encouraging crappie news.

And with that, I'll see you on the water.

Default Nice fish

Those were some nice pictures of the fish you guys caught. When were they caught? During the spawn? Deep yes, I was fishing deep the other day and still only got the 4-5inchers.

Keep the post coming if you latch into any.

And with that, I'll see you on the water.
