was watching an icefishing show and they mentioned they used nails to catch crappie someone tell what nails are

i i have been icefishing for years and never heard of them

Go to a toy section and look for a soft plastic ball with the slender plastic nails sticking out all over it and you will have nail baits. They even have large and small size.
They are cheap,. so must be made by China youth slave camp.
