Question where to ice fish ???

well im new to crappie.com but i can see already that there's plenty of
knowledgable and helpful members. So i had to try it out !! I generally fish
lake decatur and taylorville. I attempt ice fishing but only get little dinky bluegills. ive ice fished tayllorville, and a lake thats like a backwater to shelbyville . I believe it was called racoon lake ??? Well any way I was wondering if anybody had any decent public places to try and pull out a good slab or two . if someone could point me in the right dir. that would be GREAT!!!!! NOT TRYING TO TAKE ANYONE'S HONEYHOLES
