I've got a 7" Mora and its treated me well for the past few years. I don't break out the 10" gas auger until the ice is over 1' thick. Less that 1 minute to drill a hole in 1' of ice with the Mora. Got mine for 5$ at a secondhand store with a new set of blades :D
