I made it out on the ice,a bit differently

Rick and I decided to go check ice.

We hit 3 different lakes and found the same 2".

So back to the drawing board.We put ice cleats on and pushed the jon boat out.


Once we got out far enough the boat breaks through.
We caught some smaller crappies.

Then we had to get back.What a chore!
We broke through 3 times on the way back.We both got wet up to the knee.
We should have walkable ice by next week.
It sure was an adveture.

Next time tie a rope to the shore and pull yourself back lol
