I would say that the best day on the ice was when I took my son out this year. Only got him out once this past ice fishing season, nothing caught while jigging but we did get 2 fish out of the 3 flags from the tipups.

A nice 13" crapppie for my 6 year old son!

And a nice little 15"-16" or so 1st walleye for my son, a very sweet surprize.

Just a few more pictures to add to his little fish scrapbook that I've been putting together ever since he was 3 months old. All C&R'd too swim and fight another day!

Well I am going to try my best to get up their next year and test yalls water. It just fires me up when I see yalls photos fishing in the ice and catching crappie, I live south of the Red River and it just does not get cold enough down here. Always enjoy yalls post, hopefully next year I will be able too post one for my self.

Take care

Marc

Well the airfare is taken care of, bro-law works for delta, It's just convincing my wife why I need too go to another state after these pesky crappie

Right now here in Texas they are still in the creeks, but about another week we will be catching them under the docks (shooting docks) I don't know what's moore fun, seeing the slip bobber disapearing in the creek, or pulling out a big ol slab out from a dock, shooting 1/16 oz jigs under the docks. Life is good.

Keith and Barron thank you guys for the hospitallity, hope to see you guys next winter sometime.

Marc
