Default Very slow bite!

Last evening I showed fish on the vex screen suspended about 10-15ft. in a depth of 20ft.Tried everything to get them to bite:minnows, wax worms, chubby darters, and down sizing to smaller jigs.Would only catch a Crappie now and then.I did manage to catch one bluegill and one bass from the same hole. They would come up to the bait only to I guess look at it or nudge it.So what do you think was the problem other then being a full moon period????

I had the same problem one day. The fish wouldn't touch my bait if even the very tip of the hook was showing. At times, when my bait was shaped like the hook, they would look at it and move away. I watched them on my aqua vu as they did this and when i pulled my line up and checked, i could see the tip of my hook. Rearranged my bait, dropped it down and get a bite. Keep the whole hook covered and it may help.
