    Default Reel Weeds

I was thinking about purchasing some of these to try out. Ofcourse the makers of reel weeds has good advertising and they have also been highlighted on in fisherman shows, but I wanted to know if anyone has used them and noticed a difference?

    Thanks for feedback,

    Scott

if you search on forums around the internet regarding reel weeds, you'll find alot of testimonials where they work. i too have thought about it. i have a spot where the crappies roam on a flat the size of a football field and you'll have the school come buy catch a few crappie, then move off and come back 5-10 minutes later (or could be another school of course. this might get them to hold a little more.

i've also thought about makeing my own.

I Have used Christmas tree garland and say it might work. I only say that because i was catching crappie before i used it. I also caught them while using it. Try it you might like it or not.

Go to your local dollar store and look, they have the same thng in 6 ft. lengths that are a whole whopping buck. You might have to search a couple of stores but the 3 dollar type stores in my area have them. I think I would drill 6 or seven holes in a circle and drop them down with a line tied so you can bring them back up and drill a couple of holes in the center of the circle and as the fish come through they may hit your bait.
