    okay i dont know much about ice fishing since i dont do it nor will i do it...i like the warm weather and rather stay in doors when its that cold out side...but this is my ? for you guys....when making a willow leaf ice jig/blade how big is to big? is a 1 1/2in with a #4 hook to big?

    It Would Work Ok For Walleye Here In Minnesota With A Minnow Attached Depends On What Your Fishing For But If Panfish Threw The Ice Micro Is Best In My Opinion And Would Say A #8 Hook Is Biggest Id Use

    Good advice Joe.
    For ice fishig you have to remember that the oxygen content gets real low,thereby causing a very negative attitude .Up here in the ice belt we fishers choose some small baits.
