Hey crappiejohn...
I was thinking the same thing...a buddy of mine mentioned doing that a couple of years ago in the winter when he is usually laid-off work...running out of time before January 01 2010 so will probably buy whatever our local tackle shops have on hand in the meantime...Thanks

Try here Fishing and Ice fishing jigs for walleye, bass, panfish, crappie, perch, trout, panfish, bluegill, and sunfish
. They are good people to deal with and they are cheap. Just add a few maggots and your good to go.
Don't forget to fish shallower in the early morning and late afternoons as the fish will move from the deep to the shallows and back again during the day. Also give night fishing a try it may surprise you of the size of catches that can be had.

i suppose your right but tie one of these jigs on and ask your self if its worth it after all the fish that bite on one of these and no messy bait to keep on your hook :D

Heya Beansy!
Try the Berkley Gulp Alive Fish Fry in pink on a 1/16th oz jig or smaller!
I bought some of the 1 inch long ones and they work!... gonna try some of the 2 inchers too!
Dress warm when you go out there on the ice!

its nothing original or special or something anyone cant make for 1/4th the price with an ounce of manual dexterity. im just not crazy cause dude acts like he invented the hair jig, sorry i been using the same thing he is trying to claim he created for the last 30 years both ones of my own and other peoples.. you check around you can find the same farkin thing for bout 60 cents.. i mean its only a hook and 1/80th ounce of lead and a few hairs definately not a 2 dollar lure.

Why are you trippin about Keith's jigs? If they work for people that can afford them, so what. When you start selling them at a lower price, you'll make some money. Altho they haven't worked for me on ice, they work very well for me at ice-out fished under a float. When you start selling them at .60, let me know and i'll get a couple dozen from you. I can afford to buy Keith's jigs til then.

dude i was just answering dudes post. he acts like there something different or exceptional .. there just a plain ole hair jig, im not here to make money or overcharge people for a hair jig i make my own and if friends need them i give them some. if you feel like spending 2 bucks for something you can get elsewhere cheaper then so be it. im just informing the uninformed.
