Sorry Cane pole I gave away a couple coon pricks. I ran hounds over 20 years. If you want me too, I can post a picture of a cougar, bear, Raccoon, I have on the wall, or a bobcat all caught with my hounds.

Tom are you really wanting one? we usually kill a coon or two during deer hunting season, and if I get one this year, I will skin it out and send it to you.. I hear that they make jewerly out of them too.

Yep. I would love one. Good conversation piece. My dad and I walked 100s of miles in the Hatchie bottom here. Been lost a lot bunch times. Compass only. I loved that coon hunting. Can't walk too good anymore.

You can buy em on the internet, but that has no appeal to me.

    Thanks

    Tom

We never shot the coon. We just let the dogs get the coon. What a ruckus.

I had one for years to Cane Pole...have no clue where it is now. I also spent many hundred of hours walking the Uwharrie Mts and all around here coon hunting. Its all I can do to walk to the truck from the house now. Coon hunted for years....raising and training my own dogs.
