Default Turkey!!

Got my first for the season. 7/8 spurs and 10 1/4 beard. Weighed 22 pounds. Called him off his hens back to me about 100 yrds. Shot him at 20 yards while gobbling.

Taking a bird is a feat but calling him off his hens is the real kicker!

Congrats on a good lookin' bird! I hope to stick one if I can put my pole down long enough. We still have a couple of weeks here before the season opens.

Thanks for sharing.

Congrats! I'm getting anxious. Our season opens the 1st and is open the whole month of April. Hope to rock one with the 10 gauge.
