Have heard that they fly like field points and I've read where a lot of huge bear have been taken with them.
Also heard that they fly exceptionally well out of crossbows too.

    Default slick trick

midnight I used slick trick 100gr. for almost 3 yrs. while it is true they fly like field pts, I had limited success on what I would call good hits, the best buck I ever had a shot at just trotted up a hill after a solid hit right behind the shoulder at 15 yds. bad penetration shooting 68 lbs. never found him, last year lost a good NT buck too around rut-- hit him high lung to lower lung on the off side --saw arrow where it came out as he ran off-- perfect shot for 22'up at 18 yds.,good blood first 40 yds. then hole must have plugged cause he quit bleeding I actually saw him run 200yds across pasture and disapear in to ditch, found one drop of blood where he hit ditch ( Sick Again)I changed back to thunderhead 100's and watched both deer I shot drop within sight of my stand, I know shot placement is 99% of getting your deer, and I'm no Robin Hood but from my experience I wont go back to the tricks, I have a new pack of 3 I'm gonna try and trade for the Naps----Don't get me wrong they really do shoot good out of my BowTech 101'st and I tried to stick with them thinking it was me --but they're inexpensive and fairly sturdy -- maybe you'll have better luck with them

Slick ticks shoot great but very small holes. I shot one doe with them. 10 yards went though so fast I thought I missed. looked no blood at all fallowed the trail she was on no blood then I dang near triped on her in the trail. She went about 45 yards. with aperfect shot. It looked as if she was shot with a 22 rifle. For a female I would think about 75 grain Magnus Stinger. they shot great out of a Razor edge

I'll echo what's already been said here about the slick tricks. They do shoot just like field points, but I to had a bad experience using them.

I shot a nice 10pt directly under my stand, he ran about 65 yards and then laid down. I thought to myself, good deal....he's done. Wrong! the buck never lowered his head and after about 30 minutes he managd to get back on his feet and actually walked back toward me. He was hit hard and hurt bad, I just wasn't sure where my arrow hit. He laid back down about 35 yards from my tree, but I was unable to loose another arrow at him. After about 30 more minutes he got to his feet again and walked off out of sight. I was so disgusted. First, I was very upset the deer was suffering. Secondly, I knew I aimed right behind his shoulder. I was sure the deer was lost.

I remained in my stand for about another hour, then got down and went to the trail I last saw him walking. No blood whatsoever. I just kept walking in the direction I had last seen him and fortunately I found him dead 75 yards away.

Upon inspection of the shot, placement was picture perfect. Right behind the right shoulder. The hole size was very small. I was very disappointed in the broadheads performance given the arrow placement.

I've since switched to the two blade Rage. I've killed my biggest buck with a bow with them (he only ran 35 yards and piled up) and two tom turkeys that died within sight as well. Really am sold on the Rages! just wish they would lower the price on them.

been bow hunting for 32 years now. have tried many broadheads: thunderheads, muzzy, rage, nitron, satalites, magnus, ... you get the idea.

    best broadhead IMHO, SLICKTRICKS.
