    Default Turkey Fever

    Is anyone else out there getting fired up for turkey season??? It has been a long winter here in Indiana. I have seen some huge flocks in the fields the past couple of weeks. Food is scarce.

    I can't wait! I have been seeing some big flocks where we hunt, and I already want to run out and shoot one! I'm sure that when the season gets closer I won't see them! You know, just like deer hunting!

    yeah we gettn ready down south 30 days an counting been seeing a few in the fields

    The county I live in the season starts on April 1st and the North Zone begins on April 3rd which unfortunately is Easter Weekend. I might go for that Saturday morning but not on Sunday. There's plenty of other weekends I can get after them plus I'm off every Friday.

    Why does the best crappie fishing of the year have to coincide with my favorite hunting season. It's always a fight between going turkey hunting, or crappie fishing.

    yeah the wife is ready for me to take the callin outside, i got an ichy trigger finger and can't wait till the 20th. i think next week the 13 it starts in mississipi, i'm jealous. good luck to everyone. fishin will have to wait till the birds quit gobblin.
