Default Big shed

My good friend and fishin'/huntin' buddy found this shed here in Fleming Co early spring. Only found one half but it was in GREAT shape. An absolute monster, must have been a bad dude, I wish I could get the other side to get a score. Check this out, I wanna think that side itself is 90+inches( 6 typ points) and the main beam is palmated, so im thinking a 180 class buck. Hope he is still around in the same places this season. I dont even care if we see him again(yeah I do) but I just want the other side of that shed. Still looking for it. This be a lot of bone. The reason I think its a 180+ is because my cousin killed this 188 typ in the neighboring county and this shed is bigger(mass wise)!! And cuz's deer looks dirty and dusty cuz his wife keeps it in the closet!!!!! Plus here is a bachelor group pic of this year from my farm. Just tryin' to get pumped up for season. Still can't get outta fish mode to get in the stand yet....Plus I am bow-less now..

PS: I look crosseyed and amazingly dumb in the pic holding the shed so I painted my ugly mug in case anyone was wondering

Slabber, with deer potential like you guys have in Ky. and having that bachelor group roaming around on your farm....well, if you aint already stoked then you need to just keep fishing! Seriously....you couldnt keep me out of the woods if I saw that many bucks outside the ears in one pic.

Gabowman,

I would be huntin' but some low life stole my matthews last year out of my garage.....its about to kill me borrowing bows til I can get another good one. And there has been seven coming out like clockwork in that field. Every evening up until dark.. Come 1st muzzleloader weekend and them bad boys are MIA...lol
The big ones/old ones turn nocturnal.

Default how big?

Anybody wanna take a crack at what you think that buck would score w/ the other half. I have tried to self score just that side and always get around 95-105 but I know I'm no official scorer but I do use Boone and Crockets scoring sheets when I do it. I know racks arent everything and I love to eat a good doe but I dont ever remember seeing a brute like this in real life around here, looks almost like a state record deer. My cuz's in the other pic is in the top 10 in KY typicals of all time, and I think this shed is bigger.

That shed came off an absolute bruiser!!! I don't even want to guess what he would score, but looks like the base fills up your entire hand and his tines are long enought to roast hot dogs on. I sure you hope you get a chance to take a shot at him this year.

Looks like even if you don't encounter him again that there are some other big fellas that would make fine substitutes .

That sux about your bow getting stolon. I hope the guy shoots himself in the foot with it. Have you looked at the new Mathews bows this year? I shoot BowTech, but I'll be the first to say that if I was in the market for a new bow, the Mathews Reezen 6.5 would be on my short list . That is one slick bow. 330 IBO from a single cam bow is just plain amazing .

Default Crow

I checked out the new matthews. I like the reezen too. Thats droppin a dime on a new bow and all the goodies though. I had an old switchback xt and got attatched to it. Was thinkin bout lookin for a used switchback xt on ebay tthat already had the goodies on it. They are much more reasonable. Yeah, i hope that d-bag that stole it gets speared by a spike buck!!!!
