I saw a couple a few weeks ago as I was going into church. I assumed they were making sure of their salvation before turkey season!
As I may have told yawl before I quit hunting turkey , they just aint hard to hunt in Texas and for sure you can kill a big gobbler really easily just about anywhere and sometimes they even are in town as well .Case in point .....
Hit the bank early to get a few bucks from the am to go shopping and wouldn't ya know it ....right in the middle of turkey season the little one says hey dad look at the turkey ...I said sure sure where are they sweety and she right there beside us in the parking lot !
I went holy heck look at them big boys headed towards the building ...bet they are going to get rough with the mirrored glass ....that's the speed of these Texas gobblers and I remembered a time when I was in an office about 20 miles from where we were and a gobbler beat himself bloody on the window while everyone in the office was like are you kidding me ?
so we drove around them some in our BRIGHT red Honda and took a few photos and I called at them some so they would gobble it up and man did they ....all 3 at the same time for her to see and then off we went to go shopping like we had planned to do ...
funny stuff for sure ...had me laughing they did ....I even thought about trying to pet one for grins ....
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whalesjackie53 thanked you for this post
