That’s what I thought when I first heard about it, but with 1200 acres and us being the only hunters there, it didn’t feel that way at all. Especially since nobody was stand or blind hunting. We were stalking and hunting with dogs. And they haven’t brought in any hogs for a long time from what I understand. They breed naturally and the population pretty much sustains it’s self.

Congrats on a great hunt. Nothing wrong with high fence for animals you can't hunt without going over seas. It would cost a lot of money to hunt bores in Russia or Europe. You are correct a wildhog is a farm pig that got free and turned wild. And you are correct all pig's are tuff as nails. I kill a big hog this year and it took 2 250gr muzzleloader bullets to the head before before it expired. All the hogs or pig's make for a great hunt and good food.
