Grandson is on fire

My 8 year old grandson is on fire. He killed a 135 earlier in the year and yesterday killed a 149 4/8. Both were one shot kills.

them are both really big bucks and like posted many a hunter will never even see a 135 much less a 150 class buck , they aint real common in most areas of the country .
my biggest buck to date is just under his 149 buck and I been after them 50 years myself . HE is most certainly on fire ...Congrats

That's impressive. Where I live a 130 is a buck of a lifetime so congrats to the young man.

We are trying to teach him to only take mature bucks. He looks at mine and wants deer in that caliber. I have 5 that score from 155 to 168 5/8. I won't shoot anything under 150 and 4 1/2 years old unless it is cull and needs to be removed from the herd.
