Nice Tenner. I got a nice buck a few years ago on Thanksgiving morning and everyone in my family held up on dinner..........didn't ask them to wait, but they did. Then I got fussed at over it.

As soon as I saw the deer! I always get excited even when I see a doe! If I ever loose the excitement there is no more reason to hunt em other than to eat!

I hunt for the meat, getting a big buck/doe is a bonus.
Well, that isn't entirely true. I enjoy the hunt. The scouting, the planning, trying to guess where and when they will be opening morning, the still hunting, stalking, map reading, clearing paths into and out of my hunting area, etc. I get just as excited for a big doe as I do for a big buck. I will, and have passed on anything only a year or two old. I'm a meat hunter and prefer 3 year olds and older. I prefer does, however come opening morning we have a saying in deer camp. If it's brown it's down. lol
