    Default Got my bear

Well I thinned the bear herd a little. I have 16 bears using a 90 acre farm.

Very nice! Be glad when they open a season here. They can tear up anything.

Congrats. That's quite a few bears on 90 acres. Are you making lard from the fat?

Nice bear! I used to hunt in Beaufort and Hyde counties in the 90s. There were a bunch of bears back then; I can only imagine they population has grown.

I don't know about it tasting like hog,I personally think bear taste like beef.I once took bear steaks and mushroom gravy to a church Christmas party, folks cleaned the pan and ask for more........untill they found out it was bear meat,I basically got excommunicated .
