Great job,nice doe.For the last thirty years I hunted exclusively with recurves and long bows,and the last twenty years I built self bows,mostly out of Osage,elm,and hickory.Funny as it sounds,I have more confidence in my self bows,and what factory recurves and longbows I've shot,than modern compounds.
I shoot true instinctive ( taught by the late great Stacy Grosscup ), again,good job on your kill,it's very rewarding to use that type of equipment.

Very nice. Congrats. I have not hunted much yet. I only hunt with traditional bows, been that way for 12 years. I am shooting the Magnus heads this year. I have shot Simmons for years. I will post here when I get one.

I'm hunting with a my Border Black Douglas Ultra w/Hex 5 Carbon limbs 60 in. 47@28 now with big Simmons Treesharks.. love the holes they make. I've been seriously hunting with recurve since 2003, been shooting one off/on since I was about 10 46 yrs ago.
