Really sorry I had to miss this today guys. looks like a decent turnout and a few fish caught.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

It was a great day despite the weather. The sun peaked through the clouds most the morning, and the winds started out realatively steady at 5-10mph. By noon we had 20-25mph with gusts. The rain held off all day. The fish on the other hand werent very cooperative. 3 of the 7 teams returned with fish, granted mine wasnt much of a fish, even though it was legal size.

Hats off to first place team of Frank C. and Tim D. They won first place with 5 fish weighing in at 5.3 pounds. Plus they won big fish contest with a 2 pounder.
2nd place went to the team of John G. and Michelle G. with 4 fish weighing 3.2 pounds.
3rd place went to the team of Tim H. and Nick H. with 1 fish who barely moved the scale.

Seems like everyone was catching bass, mostly dinks, but they were biting. Would have been a great day for a Bass tournament too.
Other than a couple of other anglers, we had the whole lake to ourselfs. Not sure what everyone else did, however I found a few cribs and beaver dams. One crib the fish were stacked up like cord wood, all but one had lock jaw.

Overall it was a great day, had a lot of fun, and meet some great people. Looking forward to the next tournament. We have a tentative date and location, however that has to be confirmed with the facility and DNR before I post it.
