I was out on Lake Evergreen pre-fishing for a Crappie tournament the next weekend. Jumping from one spot to another. Noticed many others on the lake. Bite was slow and it was starting to get hot. Decided it was time to hit the White Oak ramp and get some work done at the house. On my way I noticed a father/young son team in a shallow bay. Dear old dad was pulling on the starter rope with everything he had. Wind was blowing them into some really shallow stuff. I spun back around and headed their way, kicked the engine off to see if I could help. Turns out they were out for the day with a rental boat. Handed them my anchor rope and towed them half way across the lake. 25 minutes later we arrived at the main ramp. Sent them on their way and I made the 20 minute trip back to the White Oak ramp.
Thinking back. I wish I would have given them the rest of my minnows and pointed out a couple of crappie holes that I know had fish. Towing them is one thing, ensuring a fruitful trip could have made them future Crappie fisherman.

I could have really used a tow a few weeks ago when my pull cord froze up. I KNOW those people appreciated the tow! Rowing from one side of a large lake to the other side is NOT fun...Really nice that you noticed them!
Good job Ive been on both ends of that before
