Hit SixMile / FourMile pretty heavily Thursday/Friday evenings and Saturday morning.
Weird pattern: Fish a line of docks and produce nothing until you get to one and then BAM! BAM! 2-3 slabs right quick. I'm thinking "all right, HERE WE GO!", then...
Nuthin'.
Go to the next line of docks and repeat. And you're just as apt to pull out a 2lb+ bass as a crappie.
Nothing shallow except the carp (which are tearing up the banks, BTW). All our crappie were nice, all in 15' - 18' of water, but right on the surface under the docks.
Fishing for about 4 hours produces about a dozen fish, half'n'half crappie and bass. All female. All with eggs still. (Even the bass....)
Weird...

This has just been a weird spring. Especially on Lanier and the Hill cause of them filling back up.
To heck with work, lets go fishing.
