Why yes, I believe I will! Meant to tell everyone too, that Arrowhead Bait and Tackle right across from the Veterans State Park entrance now carries Lightwire Tri Heads and LTL pole Holders.

Sage and Faye Baby will also be there. Thinking about going myself but definately not anywhere near the park. Gonna try it way up river. Gonna be too many water lice.

Went today, caught about 20 nice ones on minnows off the cyprus trees and a lot of smaller throwbacks.
Park was a mad house with a tourney and skiiers. Never ceases to amaze me with folks dragging their kids around on tubes in the mouth of the park creek and bass boats flying into the creek to get back to the ramp that no one gets killed from getting run over.
I sure would not pull my kids around in a circle where boats were roaring past at 60MPH.

I also enjoyed trying to get my boat on the trailer as a pontoon full of "ladies" decided the ramp would be a good spot to start pulling their kid on a float. They were oblivious to the fact that 12 or so boats are there to get loaded up while their tow rope is blocking the ramp.

We went today and took the boat out for the first time...Boat ran great and I think we got all the quirks worked out...The fishing was great in Cedar Creek and Collins Branch...But the catching was pitiful. I think we may have caught 15-20 but all were dinks. We fished from about 9:30 - 1:00. Water didnt look to bad south of Cedar Creek but the further north we went, the muddier it looked. Today was more about fine tuning the boat and checking everything out, but it was nice to get out on the water. Thx for the 1/2" wrench Papasage:D....I think we are ready for Slabfest now!!!
