Thread: Oconee Report 4-18

Saturday I was working around the house and my wife felt sorry for me because I haven't been able to go fishing for awhile. So she said lets load up and go to Oconee (she is a great wife). We didn't get on the lake until after
5 PM. We went to Rocky Creek and we trolled, I would like to have shot docks but my wife can't do that so we trolled. I was suprised we caught some really nice fish. It took awhile to find them and to figure out the color. They were only hitting on one color a tripple ripple pumpkin/chart. They were in about 3 to 6 foot of water in the back. We worked hard for the ones we caught and ended up with 29 and we kept 10 that were all over a pound. When I filet them they all had eggs. I didn't think we would catch any nice fish but we would just have a good time fishing. Its great when your wife invites you fishing.
