    Default Humminbird SI Units

I thought I read somewhere that the transduce for the 1197 worked better on a 798 than the transducer that comes with the 798...Anyone know anything about that?
Also I am looking for a transducer for a 798 to mount on my boat. My fishing partner has a 798 and we would like to be able to move it from my boat to his, according to whose boat we are fishing in......Thx

Don't know about swapping the transducers but defintiely look close at ebay...I had to replace my 997 transducer and found it about $50 cheaper on there than anywhere else...
