Took the advise on Crappie.com and went up crooked creek on Sinclair. Went under the bridge on left just above Crooked Creek Fish Camp. Shot docks from 12:30 PM till 6:30 PM. Caught around 70, but absolutely NO SIZE. Caught 5 I would consider keepers, but the rest were a little bigger than hand size. I had a great time full of action. Found the best fish in over 11ft. of water. If you want a ton of hand size fish, fish Crooked Creek. The water was not near as muddy as below Little River Park where I live. The water temp was 65 degrees. Good luck and let me know how you do on Sinclair. I guess I will go up to Oconee to try and find some fish with some size. Good luck everyone.
hey riverhawk,wat color did they like best? do u think trolling will still get em ? im dnt shoot docks.
They seemed to like anything with bright green. I was using a minnow tube from Dwaz that was light green with a orange belly. I tried white but they just seemed to like green the best. The water was not so muddy up at crooked creek so that had to help. I hope to try Oconee this week so I will let you know how I do.
River Hawk, A friend and I went today. We kept 29 crappie,3 cats, and 1 Shellcracker. We were in Island Creek. Seems like they hit a Black-Orange-Yellow Chennile better than anything.
Thank you so much for the advise Luremaker. I am going to Oconee today and I will let you know how I did. Thanks again for the info.
I'll be up there tomorrow
we usually hit Sandy Run and Shoulderbone
let ya know...
