I only had a couple of hours to fish on Sat. mid morning so I ran over to Red Top and launched. I needed to stay close to home so I didn't go up to Little River as normal. I don't know much of anything about the red top end of the lake and didn't venture far but for the first time this year I was skunked pulling jigs. I never catch many but don't often go home empty either. Sorry I can't help with a better report. Even tho it was a nice morning to be out. Recon I'd better take Thankfulls advice and meet the experts.

rwindis we are not all experts I am probably the least of the bunch but grand pa allways said that the more people you got together the more knowledge you had and so far I have found that to be true. We should have people there that are good fishermen or women in different types of fishing. such as fishing shallow and deep, longline trolling, pushing, tight lining ect. and any consistent fisherman uses several different methods because different methods for different seasons of the year.

Hit the lake on Saturday............. My luck was just as good as yours thankfull. Even my fail safe holes yielded no fish..........Fished Stamp Creek and Kellogg Creek with no takers short of the occasional greenie..........Set up the lights at sunset and fished the bridge at Kellogg Creek until 2am with no fish boated anywhere in sight. Water temps are still yet to break 65 on a regular basis........

Gonna give em a break this week and go to Sapelo Island to chase Cobia off of Grays Reef......... They like jigs to LOL.................. You would think with the lures we try to feed these things they live on a steady diet of psychodelic feather dusters LOL.
Bulls Bay aka Dave - Someone once asked me "Aren't you concerned with all the gaps in your work history due to fishing?" My response.... "I am more concerned about the gaps in my fishing history due to work!" :D
