    Default Well they are back in 5-20 FOW today..

    Water temps were cooler...59-62 today..water is still muddy..
    Today we had to stop fishing when we got limits of 3/4-2 LB in the live well
    today two 1/32 jigs 6' apart about 30 yrds behing the boat..or one 1/32 and a #5 splitshot.....several triple hookups.. Wish everyday could be like today..

    That's a good trip for sure! Glad you are staying after them. Were you fishing the same area and were some of the others still showing deep too?

    ya only need five at Slabfest...
    We do that to keep the weights closer...
    today nothing over 1 1/2# but still had their limits
    I wish slabfest tourney was yesterday..I coulda brought in 10lbs plus on five but that was the best day in a long time... That kind of day was good to have for a guide trip...those ohio guys had a wonderful 3 days and i bet they believe I'm the man but even a blind hog finds a nut sometimes..if I was good Henry/foulhook and I would've been in the money at the slabmaster tourneys..I'm still learning from plenty of people.. got another lesson coming next week....It is easy to catch them on your home lake after fishing it
    30yrs+ but to do it anywhere...now that is what I want to do..

    Hey smitty sounds like another awesome day on the lake. Save a few of those slabs for may 2nd. Looking for ward to this trip. My wife and I will be there Wednesday evening. Will pick your fishing brain when I get there ole buddy.

    Smitty, after 30+ years fishing that lake you probably have names for all the crappie in Harding and they probably take minnows right out of your hand. It's great to hear the good news. See ya soon
