    Default More info on Talquin?

Although I enjoyed my trip to Talquin back in Feb.I plan on going back as soon as Im fully recovered from my back surgery, hopefully in May.I liked Rustys set up,but are there any other places to stay on the lake?He stays booked. Are there any places to eat on the lake or close to the lake?and is the fishing good on in to the summer? The weather kept me close to the boat ramp on my trip so I did not get to see much of the lake. Thanks

Honestly I just always stay at Rusty's if I make it an over nighter. I have stayed at Ingrams before but it just doesnt feel like Rusty's. You get that small town welcome home feeling from Rusty and Pat. I usually dont have trouble getting a place with them either, esp once the spawn is over. But to answer your question, just google the other 2 places and you should get some numbers. From what I have heard, whipperwhile is very $$$$$. Also you can try the hotels at the interstate
