We had about 20 people there and all got along really well. So many good people that a good time was easy to have. All of you that were not there but supported us. Thank you. You are the ones that can help these get togethers grow. We had a great little tourney for something thrown together and planned just a little over a month. Thank you all.
The ages of those in attendance ranged from 20s to 60s. People from all walks of life. I learned from all of them.
Crappie.com has the best people in the world. Thank you all for your hard work and efforts. I hope you all had as good of a time as it seemed. I know I did and will be at the next one in middle Georgia.
Again thanks to all that came or supported us.

Roy and I made it home around three today. Thanks Smitty for all our help and we had a great time.
Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
It was an absolute blast!!
Yep, I will admit, Danny and I did show up a little late for the weigh-in, because his phone got adjusted to AL time while we fished on the AL side, and we never noticed until we got back to the weigh-in. Apparently, it switched back to GA time and we were just a little late!! Opppsss!!!
It was a great time, the fishing sure was rough, but it was to be expected during this time of year. I knew before we even headed down there it was going to be hard to get some quality fish this time of year!
But, we sure did have a good time!!
Thanks Smitty and everyone else involved for making this such a good time!!
Good friends, great food, good fishing, and a few laughs made it all worthwhile!!
Thanks everyone!

GaBoy-- My friends here just cut off the time display on cell phones so they don't get confused. It happens all the time and we kinda knew what happened before yall ever got in. We thought maybe boat trouble or lost but were waiting on the time before we started looking.
I want everyone to know how great of a fish frier GaBoy is, Man that fish was delicious. Thanks for your hard work in that heat. See you soon and tightlines to you.

Shinerunner> Sorry to leave you out man. You were sweating too. Thanks.
i sure had a great time. I am still amazed at what great people I met. Everyone seemed to get along well and really like each other. Not one problem the whole bash. Well Birddog won his own hunting prize. He was upset the company sent hunting stuff, then he wins one.. lol It wasn't funny to him. I got a bobble head turkey. That fits for sure. I was the biggest turkey there.

That was some of the best fish I have eaten in a while. I just wish I had a few to weigh in when the time came. It wasn't that I didn't try though.
Maybe if we do this again next summer we could do it a little different. When it is hot have the tourney at night, maybe one tourney could be dock shooting only, etc.... Since there are several ways to catch these buggers we coould really make it interesting. Only as long as we agree to have just as much fun at everyone of them.
Don't get me wrong I would have loved to at least placed but the fun and fellowship was truely the best part of the whole trip. Meeting new people and making friends along the way certainly made the 4.5 hour trip I made worth it all. I think we all will agree on that.
One word of caution on the next one. Watch out for Shinerunners Anti-Theft device on his boat!!!!! You should get a patent on it buddy.

Had a great time. Well worth the drive. Hope to do it again, but maybe in April or May. Smitty, you did good man. I know we didn't have the numbers you wanted, but the quality was awesome. A great lake you have there. My dad caught more fish in the tournamet than I did, which I will hear about again I am sure
Let me know about those rods.
