    Default lake blacksher report .

    ragfly and i went to the honey hole just below cedar creek this morning got there about 8:30 am . the bite started off pretty good . ended after 12:00 noon.we cought 30 fish . we cought some on minnows and some on jigs . jig color was green white tail white head .


    ragfly cought the most .i cought the biggest

    Honey hole below Cedar Creek???? I thought it was the other direction. Is there more than one?

    Anyway, nice catch. Hope they are biting at the slabfest next month.

    papasage......Were ya'll longlining or spider rigging???? Most of the fish in the picture look like black crappie rather than white crappie, which is just the opposite of most of the pictures from Blackshear lately??? Either way, that's a good trip!!

    Guys the fish are biting at Blackshear.Justfish and I fished Saturday with two friends and each boat brought home the limit.Trolling jigs with a variety of colors working well.Average size was very good with several Blackshears specials thrown in.

    Went today and yesterday caught a plenty of fish, just not the size I'm huntin. Good to see all you guys.

    Papasage & Ragfly.....good to see ya'll again. I ended up with probably 35 or so but none big enough to fillet...spider rigged myself...but several other boats out there were slow trolling and catching but didn't see any of them with any hawgs....maybe next time....I did go check some pre-spawn areas in about 15' but no fish yet....be few more weeks if it don't stay below 40 at night....water temps today were from 46-50
