Thread: Blackshear Today

I couldn't stand it any longer so I headed for Blackshear. I got there around 4:00 and the wind was howling...Serious whitecaps!!!After about 30 minutes, the wind started dying down and the fish started biting. I fished the river channel in about 30 ft of water and ended up with 17 nice fish. I fished until it was completely dark. I was starting to leave around 6, but the fish kept biting so I just stayed. The smallest was 15 oz and the largest was 1 lb 13 oz. Depending on the wind, I may go back tomorrow morning...Here is a pic of the biggest and the smallest catch of the day:
