Default lookin go replace my TM

been looking at the powerdrive of course, Thats what I am replacing but with a new more efficient model, is the auto pilot really worth the extra 300 bucks, I long line, tight line and shoot docks if that helps. thanks for the input

Its worth more than the extra $300...Best thing I have on my boat!!!...I only longline so I cant speak for shooting docks or tight lining. I will say the response time for changing directions is a little slower than a cable drive, but overall I think you will be very happy with the Auto Pilot. No different than what you have now, but you can enjoy fishing 100 times more!!

You will appreciate the auto pilot on big water. It will allow you to concentrate on the purpose at hand(catching fish) and not the trolling motor position.

Come on Kieth..... You know the answer to this one. You've been out with me enough times to see. If you're already used to the power drive then you've got to get the AP. I wouldn't necessarily suggest the Universal Sonar cause I don't think it's as sensitive as an original.the

The US2 is just as good if not better than the regular transducer. I ran my H/B on both and the US2 seems to be better because it has more a broader coverage area than the regular transducer did. No wires to deal with either. Just a connecter from the depth finder to the T/M that you match to your depth finder.
