Got to lake about 3:00p.m.Launched boat at Cedar Creek ramp.Fished till 5:45 keeping 19 fish.Twelve were real good fish between a pound and a pound and a half.Trolling single jigs in the channels.Surface temps were 50.7 when we got there and 50.2 when we left.
Thx for the report...Jabbo was there today also and said he caught a few...I think Flathead got close to a limit, but most were just good frying size...I am debating between Blackshear and Oconee on Monday...Blackshear is closest but I need to look around at Oconee a little more.
I Love having A Crappie Day:D
Got there about 2, caught 10 smalls and hung a huge strip, it got mad and snapped me off. Might hit it again tomorrow in search of moby.

We had a fair day yesterday. We started up the river but water temp was 44 and heavy stain. Came down to river channel above Cedar and found some hungry ones. Pushed minnows. Most fish were in 28-35 FOW and hanging 18-30' down. Water temp was 50. Nothing over 1lbs and 17 total with several of Ragfly's pocket crappie!! Fish were unusually aggressive. Didn't keep any this trip, but the bellies were swollen on several. Caught more whites than blacks. Wish it wasn't raining cause I would be back there now.
