    Default Clark's Hill Ramps?

The Corps of Engineers website is down. I'm thinking of going to the "Hill" in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if some of you that regularly fish over there could help me out? Can you still launch your boat at the ramp in Fishing Creek, the Highway 220 ramp in Soape Creek, and the ramp at Big Hart Park in Hart Creek??? Also, was wondering what the trolling bite was like? Thanks in advance for any help!!

    Default Boat ramps

The ramp at 220 Soap creek is being ised now Lincolnton had it reworked this fall to extend it. Also the ramp at big hart is open. And the ramps at Amity on Highway 43 is open. Now the ramp elevation at Fishing creek shows the end of the ramp at 318.7 the lake level at 7:00 pm 1-16-09 was at 316.97 Hope this helps

Thanks Ga Redland. I'd heard they had extended 5 or 6 of the ramps in order to use them during extremely low water conditions, but wasn't sure which ones they were. Doesn't sound very optimistic as far as future water levels are concerned. Are the fish doing much? Thanks again for the info. on the ramps.

    Default Corps Boat Ramp Info

    Just checked this link:

J Strom Thurmond Dam & Lake - Ramp Status

It's working fine now. This page shows which ramps are open and closed, and the link at the bottom of the chart directs you to the elevations at the bottom of every Clarks Hill Corps ramp.

    Great fishing!
