    Default Mighty Cold this morning

It was 19 when I got up this morning...Forecast calls for a high of 44...but NO wind. I had planned on meeting Jabbo and Flathead at Blackshear later this morning, but just like the other plans that I had this week to go to either Talquin or Monroe, I won't be going. I think I will just hang around the house and get a few things done around here. I need to relocate my trolling motor, my GPS and my rod holders on the front so that should keep me busy. Also after keeping my boat down at the lake for the past 4 months, a good cleaning would not hurt either...I got my boat back out of the shop and the good news was it was just a piece of trash in the fuel line. Going to look at another boat today that is a little bigger and heavier than what I have now...18 footer with a 90 hp Mercury...Pretty good deal on it...If I can get all of this done on a cold day like today, maybe the weather will be warmer on Monday and try either Blackshear or Oconee on Monday.

Almost done with the work I was wanting to do on the boat..I gotta come in from time to time and let my hands thaw out....Another hour or 2 and the old boat will be ready to terrorize the waters again!!!

I bought an 18 footer Bracewell with 60 e-tech. Best boat I ever used for fishing. I'm in the process of Training the boat. It's doing pretty good.

If I decide not to sell my boat, I am thinking of looking into getting an E-Tech for mine. Just gonna have to wait and see which direction I am gonna go.

LightWire, I know you will feel good knowing that some of us are keeping the country safe so others can fish:D..I got all the work done on my boat today except for cleaning it. One problem I was having was storing my rods while I was in transit from one location to another. I saw a couple of boats in the past month or so with some vertical rod holders mounted to their rod holders made out of PVC. I liked the idea and it doesn't look bad either, so I made some for my boat. I think this is gonna work out just fine:
