TNT or lightwirehooker would be your best sources of information. Or you can call Lake Talquin Lodge or Ingram's Marina and they will give you a report over the phone.
I had heard some good reports the past couple of days if you can stand the cold and wind. The weather will be colder the next 2-3 days and I have no idea how that will affect the fish. I plan on going if my boat gets out of the shop before Friday. Wish I could be of more help.

Well I hope you get your boat fixed soon and u get back out on the water. Im going to go Sat. and see what I can do. I started fishing there last year post spawn so Im still kind of new to Talquin but I always catch good fish. That is with the exception of last wknd, I went Sat. and didnt catch a thing but thats why they call it fishing. If you get to go Sat and see me be sure to introduce yourself. I will be launching at LTL and will be in a camo 15ft War Eagle and will have a mud motor(looks like a lawn mower engine to non duck hunters) on the rear. Im playing it by ear but if the fish are biting I plan on staying at LTL or either one of the motels by the interstate Sat. night. Sure hope the fish bite and the motels have electric hook ups for the boat LOL. Bee safe and look forward to meeting you guys

Heard some good reports from the locals .........until the winds gets up. I plan on going next Monday and stay a few days. The third day of a warming trend is normally pretty good so maby it will warm up next week. I like to fish when TnT is working.......that way he is not following me.

You don't have to worry about TNT , I'll be on your "6" and you don't know where we put the gps tracking device on your boat,HEEEEE!
We fished a tournament down there in 07 where it was so cold the fog froze on my boat about 5 minutes after idling out making the boat look completely white, the trolling motor was frozen in the housing and I know one guy who's big motor froze in gear and he couldn't start his boat....the fish were hammering first thing and if I remember right it took 15 pounds to win that one....
